I am a gay presbyterian Pastor from Canada who is looking for a change of career after 26 years in ministry. I have served large churches so I have leadership and organizational skills along with communication and interpersonal skills too. I have a whole resume I can send. I would very much like to relocate to Miami and work for the GLBTQ community in Miami. Just seeing if my skills could be helpful and if there are any openinings in your organization for someone like me. Thank you so much for your time. Dave

Hello, this may be a crazy request but my sibling, Randi, had GRS on Thurs, Oct 5 at University of Miami Hospital. We are both from Northern Alabama. I will be flying back home tomorrow morning and it hurts my heart to know Randi will be alone throughout her recovery. Would it be possible to see if anyone within the community could visit and check-in on Randi from time to time so we won’t feel so alone? My sibling is Randi Blocker, room 814. Thank you.

I train Executive Assistants that work with celebrities, CEOs, wealthy entrepreneurs, Mayors and more. Their assistants have my book “Is It 5:00 Yet?” which gives tips and techniques for exec assistants. I would like to donate a session in the NY area to train members ages 18+ how to be a top level assistant. I am committed to helping any way that I can to support the LGBTQ community succeed and obtain new skills and career goals.

For members 16-23, I have another program “ALL I DO IS WIN!” which teaches this demographic how to successfully go on interviews, the dos and don’ts, how to answer the tough questions like “tell me about yourself” or “why should I hire you?”. Correct attire, manners, behaviors, proper english, social media, spelling, grammar, financial management and credit card responsibility, etc are also included in the program. It is very comprehensive.

If you would be interested in hearing more about my programs which were created and designed by me, please email my assistant Rachelle at or you may contact me directly at 914-319-2926. I also invite you to visit my website Thank you.

    Good afternoon,

I am a GSA sponsor for iMater Academy and I learned about your program from Diversity Day last year.

I want to have my GSA students really involved in the community this year especially because I feel it would help them feel more accepted.

Can you please guide me to some events I should take them to that are appropriate for middle/high school students. Also, if there is anything we can do to help (fundraising for an event, collecting items, etc.) please let me know so I can plan it out.

    Thank you!

Hi, I am the future president of my school’s GSA (MAST Academy) for the upcoming school year 2017-2018. I would like to communicate with a representative that can possibly come speak at a club meeting if that’s possible. We would like to help outside of the school, like volunteering for homeless LGBTQ+ kids. We meet on Thursdays starting in September and I would love to speak to someone to hopefully set up a date. Thank you!

Am a Ugandan male aged 24 years of age and currently working as a community libraries in one of the non-governmental organization in Uganda jinjaa district Budondo sub country in Bujagali village am a gay currently residing in Jinja I had a boyfriend last year immediately after I had finished campus and we were in love until when my families got to know that I was dating my fellow man.

My family called me evil,” In Uganda, same-sex relationships are illegal and can lead to lengthy prison sentences. Members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and their allies face discrimination and assault, I myself I wanted taken to police beaten on orders of my guardians

I know what it means to be gay in Uganda. I was undressed. I was humiliated beating you up, treating you likes a non-citizen in your own country

As you probably already know, homosexuality is illegal in Uganda. Many homosexuals are outcasts, because they have chosen to be openly gay. It is not safe anymore to stay in Uganda, since the government does not provide protection to LGTB’ers – this group is even being raped and murdered. In May 2013, a group of LGTB’ers from Uganda came to Secret Garden, in search of support for their cause. The group is growing every day and has become quite large, now. These LGTB’ers found their way to Secret Garden in order to get help.

Most of them have run away to different countries, because they couldn’t live openly as homosexuals or lesbians. Because there was a dangerous climate regarding homosexuality in Uganda.

I have been chased away from their family and have nowhere to go …

Am requesting for any kind of help from your LBGT community or organization.

Am willing to relocate to any country were I will be free to exercise my rights as a gay

    Hope to hear from you

    Best regards

Hello, I am interested in volunteering with your organization. I used to volunteer some years ago, 1997-2000 to be exact, with SAVE DADE. Due to a few changes in my life, and the fact that I was somewhat burnt out, I withdrew from volunteering.

However I’m genuinely interested in doing so once again. I’d only be able to do a couple of days a month and maybe a weekend, If this is possible I’d like to discuss this further.

I’ve included my cell number in the form and look forward to hearing from you.

    Best Regards

    Good Morning,

My name is Dustin Biela and I am the Founder and President of the National LGBQT Alliance. I founded the Alliance November 9th, 2016 in the wake of the U.S. Presidential Election as a way to bring together members of the LGBQT community from across the nation. The goal of our organization is simple, to continue to promote positive LGBQT related issues, such as Equality, LGBQT Rights, and Anti-Discrimination legislation through the use of letter writing campaigns, petitions, and lobbying State and Federal Legislatures poised to help us make positive changes. I am reaching out to you today because we are looking to connect with our LGBQT groups and organizations across the country. Are goal is to bring all of this different organizations together, because together our voices will be louder than they are separately. I hope that you would be willing to assist me in this cause, and pass around the message that the fight for LGBQT Equality is far from only, and in fact it is only just beginning.

Below I have shared a link to the Facebook group that I have started. It is my hope that you will share this link with members of your community, and that together we may continue to strive for a world built on love and equality.
